August 24, 2019 - Scott Brothers Attend Dirt Million at Mansfield Motor Speedway
On Thursday evening Stormy and Johnny Scott were was one of 56 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries on hand at Mansfield Motor Speedway (Mansfield, Ohio) kicking off the second annual Dirt Million. Stormy followed up a 7th place finish in his heat with the 2nd and final transfer spot in heat. Johnny came in 7th in his heat before placing 3rd in his B-Main. Starting the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature in 20th, Stormy jumped up one spot logging a 19th place outing.

Returning on Friday night for another round of preliminary features, Johnny locked his spot into the A-Main with a 6th place finish while Stormy placed 7th. Streaking to a 12-lap consolation victory, Stormy earned the 19th-starting position for the A-Main. He dropped two spots to place 21st while Johnny improved four positions reeling in a 13th place finish.

Wrapping up the Dirt Million on Saturday afternoon, Stormy recorded a 5th place finish in his heat while Johnny placed 6th. With both drivers coming short of a transfer spot in their B-Mains, they transferred into the non-qualifiers feature for one final shot at the $101,626-to-win Dirt Million. Transferring only the race winner, Johnny came in 8th while Stormy logged a 16th place outing.

August 17, 2019 - Stormy Lands 7th Place Finish in Topless 100 Prelim at Batesville
Stormy and Johnny Scott followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) on Thursday night for the event co-sanctioned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series. Drawing 46 cars for the three-day Topless 100, Stormy logged a 10th place finish in his heat while Johnny placed 8th. Needing a 4th place finish or better in the B-Main to make the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Johnny came one spot short with a 5th place finish while Stormy recorded an 9th place outing.

On Saturday night, both drivers transferred into the B-Main for one final shot at the $40,000-to-win Topless 100. Johnny scored a runner-up spot behind Timothy Culp but Stormy slipped over the cushion in turn four on the second lap slipping him back to a 7th place finish. Relying on a provisional, Stormy held his spot for the entire distance to place 23rd. Starting the main event in 19th, Johnny Scott was running into the Top-10 late in the race when he suffered rear-end failure on lap 93 that relegated him to a 18th place finish.

August 10, 2019 - Stormy Scores 4th Place Finish in North/South Shootout at Florence
Thursday evening saw both Stormy and Johnny Scott in action at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the North/South Shootout. In a field of 52 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries, Stormy passed four cars in his heat to place 2nd behind Zack Dohm. Johnny came in 6th in his heat before posting a 5th place finish in his B-Main. With $10,000 on the line in the opening night feature, Scott gained four spots reeling in a 4th place finish behind Chris Madden, Tim McCreadie, and Zack Dohm with Kent Robinson coming in 5th. Returning on Friday afternoon running in two rounds of heat races, Stormy followed up a 3rd place finish in his first heat with a 10-lap victory in his second round. Sitting fourth in overall passing points, Stormy was locked into the Saturday night’s main event. Johnny recorded an 8th and 7th place finish in his two heats sending him into the B-Main on Saturday night for another chance at the main event.

Falling short of a transfer spot into the finale with an 8th place finish in his B-Main, Johnny went on to pass 10 cars in the non-qualifiers feature to place 4th. With $50,000 on the line in the main event, Stormy Scott dropped nine spots in the 100-lapper registering a 13th place finish.
