July 20, 2019 - Podium Finish in Bullet Sportswear Shootout at Brown County
On Tuesday night the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) brought 24 competitors to Brown County Speedway (Aberdeen, South Dakota) for the Bullet Sportswear Shootout. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Stormy Scott earned the 2nd-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Falling one spot in the 50-lap affair, Stormy notched a 3rd place finish behind Josh Richards and Tim McCreadie with Brandon Sheppard and Jonathan Davenport rounding out the Top-5. After losing Wednesday’s program at Jackson Motorplex (Jackson, Minnesota) to Mother Nature, Scott followed the LOLMDS to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) on Thursday for the Malvern Bank Go 50. Following a 9th place finish his heat, Stormy logged a 8th place finish in his B-Main forcing him to rely on a provisional into the show. With $12,000 on the line, Scott gained six spots to place 18th.

On Friday night kicking off the ninth annual Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals, Stormy followed up a 10th place finish in his first heat with an 8th place outing in his second round. Starting in 12th in his B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the main event, Scott elected to sit out his consolation event and rely on a provisional. Rolling off 27th for the $53,000-to-win finale, Stormy Scott advanced through the field 14 spots reeling in 13th place finish.

July 14, 2019 - Stormy Scott Lands Top 5 Finish in NAPA Know How 50 at Tri-City Speedway
Stormy Scott followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) on Thursday evening kicking off the four-day weekend. Drawing 31 cars for the Hoker Trucking Best in the Business 50, Stormy locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Dropping one spot, Scott logged a 10th place finish.

Returning on Friday evening for the NAPA Know How 50, Stormy secured his spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting in 4th, Scott held his spot for all 50-laps to place 4th behind Jimmy Owens, Earl Pearson Jr., and Josh Richards with Devin Moran coming in 5th. (Heath Lawson photo)

The following night brought 39 LOLMDS entries to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the CMH Diamond Nationals opener which was co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil MLRA. Recording a 3rd place finish in his heat, Stormy earned the 12th-starting position for the A-Main. Dropping seven spots, Scott logged a 19th place outing.

On Sunday afternoon for the $15,000-to-win finale, Scott came in 5th in his heat before placing 4th in his B-Main. Relying on a provisional into the show, Stormy passed 17 cars in the 50-lapper reeling in a 8th place finish.

July 6, 2019 - Johnny Scott Bags Two-Win Weekend at Vado Speedway Park
After losing Wednesday’s opener at Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio) to Mother Nature, Stormy Scott followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Thursday for the Independence 50. After coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish, Stormy slipped back to an 8th place finish in his B-Main forcing him to rely on a provisional into the show. Passing six cars, Scott reeled in a 19th place outing.

The following night at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the Topless 50, Stormy posted a 7th place finish in his heat before falling one spot short of a transfer position in his B-Main with a 4th place finish. Using a provisional into the show, Stormy jumped up seven spots in the 50-lapper to place 18th.

During the same night Johnny Scott entered action at Vado Speedway Park (Vado, New Mexico) competing in the Open Wheel Modified ranks. Holding his spot in his heat, Scott scored a 3rd place finish which positioned him 13th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Wheeling his way to the front, Stormy cruised to his second win of the season over Jake Gallardo, Bumper Jones, Fito Gallardo, and Carlos Ahumada Jr

On Saturday night it was more of the same for the pilot of the No. 1st Modified. Johnny won his heat race before starting eighth on the grid for the finale.
