August 29, 2020 - Stormy Scott scores 13th place finish in Rumble by the River finale at Port Royal
On Thursday evening Stormy Scott was one of 55 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) for the three-day Rumble by the River. After sitting out a weather delay, Scott logged an eighth place outing in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Failing to place in the Top 2, Stormy was granted a provisional into the show. With $10,000 on the line, Scott improved one spot in the 30-lapper to place 23rd.

With continuous rain and an unfavorable forecast wiping out Friday night’s event, Stormy returned to the half-mile oval on Saturday afternoon for the $15,000-to-win finale. In a field of 52 cars, Scott edged his way into the main event with the third and final transfer spot in his heat. August 22, 2020 - Top-10 finish in Topless 100 prelim at Batesville Motor Speedway
Stormy Scott followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) on Thursday evening to take part in the 28th annual Comp Cams Topless 100 weekend. With 48 cars on hand for the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Scott edged his way into the show with the third and final transfer spot in his heat race. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Stormy passed six cars in the 30-lap affair to register a ninth place finish.

With preliminary results from Thursday and Friday setting the grid for Saturday night’s main event, Scott was 10th overall in passing points, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the Comp Cams Topless 100. With $40,000 on the line, Stormy dropped six spots in the 100-lapper to record a 16th place outing.

August 15, 2020 - Scott lands seventh place finish in North/South Shootout at Florence
On Wednesday afternoon Stormy Scott visited Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) piloting his Rancho Milagro Racing No. 2s Late Model for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Ralph Latham Memorial. In a stout field of 53 cars, Scott followed up the tenth fastest time in his qualifying group with a fifth place finish in his heat. Needing a second place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $12,000-to-win A-Main, Stormy came one spot shy with a third place outing.

For the North/South Shootout on Thursday evening, Stormy timed in fifth fastest in his group before placing second in his heat behind Josh Richards. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Scott clawed forward three spots in the 50-lapper to register a seventh place finish.

With a pair of heat races on Friday afternoon setting the grid for the North/South 100 on Saturday, Scott jumped up one spot in his first heat to finish fifth. After Mother Nature shifted the second round of heats to Saturday afternoon, Stormy logged an eighth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Failing to place third or better, Scott was granted a provisional into the $50,000-to-win Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100. Rolling off 26th, Stormy Scott was an early retiree from the 100-lap affair on lap 56.

August 8, 2020 - Stormy Scott bags Top-10 finish in USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway
Thursday night saw Stormy Scott make the haul to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wis.) to compete in the 33rd annual USA Nationals weekend. Drawing 46 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries for the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Scott posted a 10th place finish in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Needing to place third or better, Stormy fell short with a 10th place outing.

The following night for a pair of heat races, Stormy jumped up one spot in his first heat to pick up the win. Starting in eighth for the second round, Scott logged an eighth place finish, which positioned him 18th overall in passing points. Taking part in the FANS Fund Dash on Friday evening for a shot at the $2,500 prize, Stormy recorded a seventh place finish.

Coming two spots shy of locking his spot into the show via passing points, Scott needed a third place finish or better in his B-Main on Saturday to make the $50,000-to-win USA Nationals A-Main.
