September 26, 2020 - 12th place finish in Night Before the Jackson at Brownstown Speedway
On Friday evening Stormy Scott followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the Night Before the Jackson. With 59 cars on hand for the two-day event, Stormy came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fourth place finish, sending him into the B-Main. The following night for the Jackson 100, Scott recorded a sixth place finish in his heat before placing fifth in his B-Main. Relying on a provisional into the $15,000-to-win main event, Stormy was an early retiree from the 100-lapper on lap 18.

September 19, 2020 - I-80 Nationals draws Stormy Scott to I-80 Speedway
Thursday night saw Stormy Scott return to action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) for the I-80 Nationals, the three-day event replacing the Knoxville Nationals due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In a stout field of 46 cars, Scott laid down the second fastest time in his group behind Kyle Strickler before placing sixth in his heat. Starting the $7,000-to-win A-Main in 12th, Stormy dropped seven spots in the 30-lap affair to record a 19th place outing. (Todd Boyd photos)

On Friday afternoon for another $7,000-to-win preliminary feature, Stormy followed up sixth place finish in his heat with the third and final transfer spot in his B-Main. Rolling off 23rd, Scott held his spot for all 30 laps to register a 23rd place finish.

With preliminary results from Thursday and Friday positioning Stormy fourth on the starting grid for his B-Main on Saturday evening, Scott secured his spot into the finale with a third place finish. With $30,000 on the line, Stormy Scott was an early retiree from the 80-lapper on lap 37.

September 5, 2020 - Scott competes in LOLMDS Labor Day weekend doubleheader
Taking part in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) doubleheader, Stormy Scott visited Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday night for the 16th annual John Bradshaw Memorial. Following a seventh place finish in his heat, Scott logged a 12th place outing in his B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the opening night feature. Rolling off 24th, Stormy was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 14.

The following night at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the Bob Miller Memorial River Days Rumble 50, Stormy laid down the fourth fastest time in his group before picking up a heat race victory.
