May 18, 2019 - 13th Place Finish in TruAcre 50 at 34 Raceway
Stormy Scott returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Thursday night at 34 Raceway (Burlington, Iowa) for the TruAcre 50. In a field of 35 cars, Scott fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Scoring a 3rd place finish in his B-Main, Stormy earned the 22nd-starting position for the opening night feature. Passing nine cars in the 50-lap affair, Stormy Scott reeled in a 13th place finish.

The following night at 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) for the Truck Country 50, Scott followed up a 7th place finish in his heat with the 4th and final transfer spot in his B-Main. Starting the $12,000-to-win A-Main in 22nd, Stormy gained six spots to place 16th.

Mother Nature wiped out Saturday's NAPA North Star Nationals at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota).

April 14, 2019 - LOLMDS Begins Four-Day Slate at Atomic Speedway; Mother Natures Wins at Sharon and Port Royal
Following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Stormy Scott was one of 33 car signed in at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) on Thursday night for the fifth annual Buckeye Spring 50. After coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish, Scott scored a runner-up finish in his B-Main behind Colten Burdette earning him the 19th-starting position for the A-Main. Gaining four spots in the 50-lapper, Stormy recorded a 14th place finish.

After Mother Nature wiped out Friday’s event at Sharon Speedway (Hartford, Ohio), Scott traveled to Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland) on Saturday for the Stanley Schetrompf Classic. In a field of 37 cars, Stormy followed up a 5th place finish in his heat with a 2nd place finish in his B-Main behind Trever Feathers. Starting in 20th, Scott jumped up two spots to place 18th.

Sunday’s Rumble by the River at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pennsylvania) was rained out.

April 6, 2019 - Scott Follows Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Tennessee and Georgia
Friday night saw the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) return to action at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) for the Tennessee’s Action Track 50. With 29 cars on hand, Scott grabbed the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race positioning him 14th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. On Saturday night Stormy followed the LOLMDS to North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) for the $12,000 top prize. After falling one spot shy of a transfer spot in his heat, Scott streaked to a 12-lap consolation victory locking him into the 18th-starting position for the finale. Improving one spot, Stormy Scott posted a 17th place finish.

March 16, 2019 - Stormy Scott Attends Indiana Icebreaker at Brownstown Speedway
On Friday evening the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) returned to action at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) for the Buckeye Spring 50 but shortly after qualifying began Mother Nature rolled in a postponed the event to April 11.

The following night brought Stormy Scott to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) for the Indiana Icebreaker. In a field of 34 cars, Scott came up two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 6th place finish. Grabbing the 3rd and final transfer spot in his B-Main, Stormy earned the 21st-starting position for the A-Main. With $12,000 on the line, Stormy Scott gained two spots in the 50-lapper to place 19th.

February 9, 2019 - Scott Follows Florida-Georgia Speedweeks to East Bay for Wrisco Winternationals
Stormy Scott followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Monday night to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) for the 43rd annual Wrisco Winternationals. After coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish, Scott scored a runner-up finish in his B-Main behind Tim McCreadie locking him into the 21st-starting spot for the A-Main. Returning on Tuesday night, Scott laid down the fastest time overall in his qualifying group but came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish. Streaking to a 12-lap consolation victory, Stormy earned the 19th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Dropping five spots, Stormy Scott logged a 24th place outing.

The following night for the third round of the Wrisco Winternationals, Stormy edged his way into the main event with the 3rd and final transfer spot in his heat race. With $7,000 on the line, Scott fell back to a 25th place outing after contact with another competitor brought out a caution on lap-20.

On Thursday evening, Scott followed up the third fastest time in his qualifying group with a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the 5th-starting position for the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Stormy slipped back to a 22nd place outing in the 40-lap affair.

For the fifth round on Friday, Stormy dropped three spots in his heat to place 6th. Starting in 3rd in his B-Main, Scott streaked to a 12-lap consolation victory locking him into the 17th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Dropping two positions in the 50-lapper, Stormy recorded a 19th place finish.

Wrapping up the 43rd annual Wrisco Winternationals on Saturday, Scott came in 8th in his heat giving him one more shot at the $12,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place 2nd or better, Stormy fell one spot short with a 3rd place finish.

A mixture of steady rainfail and an unfavorable forecast wiped out Sunday’s LOLMDS Speedweeks finale at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida)

February 2, 2019 - Stormy Scott Begins Speedweeks at Golden Isles Speedway
Friday night found Stormy Scott in action at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) season opener. With 42 Super Late Models signed in for the RhinoAg Super Bowl of Racing, Scott recorded an 8th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Needing a 3rd place finish or better to make the opening night feature, Stormy scored a 3rd place finish positioning him 22nd on the starting grid for the feature. With Mother Nature delaying Friday’s feature to Saturday afternoon, Stormy Scott salvaged a 22nd place outing after pitting for a flat-tire on 12th lap.

Later Saturday night, Stormy improved two spots in his heat reeling in a 7th place finish. Transferring the Top 3 into the $12,000-to-win finale, Scott fell two positions short with a 7th place finish.

January 13, 2019 - Stormy Scott Makes All Six Features in Late Model at Wild West Shootout
Stormy Scott returned to FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) on Wednesday night for the second round of the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. In a field of 45 cars, Scott grabbed the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race positioning him 13th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Stormy held his spot for all 30-laps to place 13th.

After having Thursday night off, Stormy followed up the fourth fastest time in his group on Friday with a 6th place finish in his heat. Needing a 4th place finish or better in his B-Main to make the feature, Scott landed a 3rd place finish locking him into the 22nd-starting position. Improving one spot in the 30-lapper, Stormy Scott logged a 21st place outing.

Returning on Saturday for the doubleheader, Scott came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat but captured a 12-lap consolation victory. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in 17th, Stormy passed two cars reeling in a 15th place finish.

Later Saturday night, Stormy followed up a 5th place finish in his heat with a B-Main win. Rolling off 18th, Scott gained five positions to place 13th.

Bringing the 13th annual Wild West Shootout to a close on Sunday, Scott fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Picking up the 12-lap consolation victory, Stormy locked into the 17th-starting position for the finale. With $14,000 on the line, Stormy Scott made contact with the wall on lap 12 that dropped him back to a 25th place outing.

January 5, 2019 - Stormy Scott Begins Wild West Shootout at Arizona Speedway
Bringing the 2019 season to life, Stormy Scott invaded FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) on Saturday night for the 13th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. With 45 Super Late Models on hand for the opening round of six, Scott recorded the third fastest time in his qualifying group before placing 3rd in his heat race. Earning the 12th-starting position for the opening night feature, Stormy brought out a caution on lap 16 that dropped him back to a 23rd place outing.

November 13, 2018 - Scott Brothers Racing Launches New Cyber Home
Las Cruces, New Mexico's Scott Brothers Racing is the latest addition to the MSR Mafia team, and a brand-new website has been launched at www.ScottBrothersRacing.com.

The team enjoyed a great 2018 season with Johnny Scott claiming the $50,000 championship with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS), while Stormy Scott visited Victory Lane on multiple occassions.

For 2019 Johnny will be taking a break from racing, while Stormy will return to the Super Late Model ranks, where he plans to contend for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Rookie of the Year title. (Tyler Rinken photo)
