Stormy notches Top-10 finish in Jackson 100 at Brownstown
Friday found both Rancho Milagro Racing pilots Stormy and Johnny Scott in action at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the Night Before the Jackson. In a field of 40 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Johnny locked his spot into the opening night feature with a third-place finish in his heat while Stormy followed up a fifth-place finish with a consolation victory. With $10,000 on the line, Stormy passed five cars in the 40-lapper to finish 13th. Johnny was an early retiree on lap 23.
The following night for the 42nd annual Jackson 100, Stormy came in third in his heat before placing 10th in the 100-lap finale. Johnny secured his spot into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a consolation victory after finishing fifth in his heat. Starting in 17th, Johnny pulled off with 47 circuits remaining.
