Quad City 150 A Struggle For Scott Following Heat Race Crash

DAVENPORT, Iowa (August 28, 2023) Only seeing a full night of competition on the opening night of the Quad City 150 with the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model Series, Johnny Scott grabbed an 18th-place finish during Thursday's opener.
Taking a hard hit during his Heat Race on Friday, that spelled the end of his weekend.
Johnny posted to his Facebook Page the following day.
"After the hit, I took last night with the light pole in the heat race at Davenport Speedway, I've decided to take the night off with the World of Outlaws. My neck and my body are really sore today, and I can barely turn my head so I’m gonna take the next few days to recover and relax. I hope to be ready to go for Mississippi Thunder and Deer Creek next week."
